Congratulations to players KingOfKosmos of Art of eXecution Gaming and MaDMavericK of OP is Me on making it to the TeamWarfare League Starcraft 2 - Season 2 League Grand Finals. Both players remained undefeated through out the entirety of the season. The two undefeated teams met in the finals for a best of five series. Without further adu, here is a quick synopsis of the games:

In game one, the map was MLG Metalopolis and both zerg players spawned in close air positions. KingOfKosmos went with a quick ten pool six zergling rush. After an early engagement, MaDMavericK was able to hold off the rush resulting in both players beginning a macro game. MaDMavericK continued playing defensively and nearly lost to heavy zergling and roach pressure at his base's front door. The army, however, was barely defeated by MadMavericK and a tech switch by both players ensued. While KingOfKosmos decided to go for Hydralisks, MadMaveric went ahead with Mutalisk production. KingOfKosmos was severly under prepared for the Mutalisks and lost nearly all of his workers. This forced KingOfKosmos to attack an overpowering army of Roaches and Mutalisks. KingOfKosmos throws out the GG and MadMavericK walks away with a game one victory.

Game two kicked off on MLG Shattered Temple with, once again, both players spawning in close air positions. Throughout the first several minutes the builds were nearly mirror to each other. Roach Warrens were thrown down for both players, however MaDMavericK went with a fast lair when KingOfKosmos went for the first push. MaDMavericK, having scouted the incoming attack, placed heavy defense in preparation. MaDMavericK was able to hold off the first wave and transitioned into Mutalisks in the mid game. MaDMavericK began his counter-attack on KingOfKosmos's main with Mutalisks and heavy zergling and roach pressure. Unable to cope with the forces of MaDMavericK, KingOfKosmos throws the GG leaving MaDMavericK with a victory in game two bringing the series to 2-0.

Game three was played on MLG Shakuras Plateau with players spawning in cross positions. KingOfKosmos opened up the game with a fast hatchery expand while MaDMavericK went with an early speedling and baneling attack. KingOfKosmos, however, sees this coming and throws down defense to deal with the oncoming army. Unfortunately for KingOfKosmos, while the zerglings and spinecrawlers were a good attempt to hold off the attack, the banelings were able to slip by and make it to the mineral line of his main. The resulting explosion comprised of green acid and tiny pieces of KingOfKosmos's drones. KingOfKosmos finally pushes the units of MaDMavericK out of his base and begins roach production. Meanwhile, MaDMavericK goes for the common switch to Mutalisks after the baneling play. KingOfKosmos thwarts a baneling drop from MaDMavericK with roaches, but isn't prepared for the nine Mutalisks that just completed production. The Mutalisks begin to harass the expansion of KingOfKosmos and shred several drones to pieces. Fortunately, KingOfKosmos had infestors in production, and managed to repel the Mutalisks. However, while all of this is happening, MaDMavericK is conducting a baneling drop in the base of KingOfKosmos and does a large amount of damage to the drone count. A thin army and few defenses are all that remain for KingOfKosmos. Realizing this, MaDMavericK begins another assault with a heavy roach army doing massive damage to the bases of KingOfKosmos. Seeing no way to come back, KingOfKosmos GGs and MaDMavericK take the TWL Season 2 League Grand Finals 3-0!
