Memorial Day Amnesty
To most it’s a long weekend to start the summer off: BBQ. Picnics. Beaches opening. But Memorial Day has deeper meanings and, to some, a very important place in their lives.
To me, Memorial Day is a day to reflect, remember and celebrate the lives of those loved ones that have passed on, to enjoy time with the family you have and to honor those fallen either in battle or on the homefront. To all of those who have had a family member or friend pass in the line of duty, or in every day life, today is a day to think, reflect, and to realize we are here to carry their memories and their message on.
On Memorial Day Weekend, quite a few North American and European members of TeamWarfare, both players and staff, will be traveling or engaged in activities that take them away from their computers.
For all teams on North American and European Leagues/Ladders: On Memorial Day Weekend, from Friday, at 12:01 am until Monday night, 11:59 pm there will be no penalties for non-acceptance of matches or for teams that are unable to make scheduled matches. Forfeits will not be awarded and teams will be asked to reschedule. Normal procedure will begin again on Tuesday.
