Let's recap: (this was wrote by a redhead woman aka thechubbyginger)
The Pros and Cons of Being a Redhead
Cons:
1) I burn like I've been slathered in bacon grease.
2) Going outside means being covered in freckles within the hour. I've known redheads who look half African because of the density of their freckles.
3) Negative stereotypes. Women are slutty, cranky bitches. Men are ugly. Kind of glad I'm a girl in this situation.
4) Have you ever tried to dress a red head in any color besides green or brown? Or, maybe given them a pair of sunglasses? Organic hippie child is pretty much the best look.
5) Other people's obsession with red pubic hair. It's either "Lol, a fire crotch." or "Lemme put out that fire with my weiner, HA!". Or, best of all, "Does the carpet match the drapes?". No, my pubic hairs are purple.
Pros:
1) Easy to spot in crowds.
2) Easy to describe to others. "You know, the ginger?"
3) A good excuse to be a cranky bitch.
4) Compliments from southern women, hairdressers, and waitresses.
5) Pretty much anyone who isn't born with red hair look like crack heads when they dye it red. And it makes us laugh when you try to be a ginger. Because you look like strawberry short cake.
So what now? Support them or you pity them?
