It's forbidden. It was talked about in the leadership forums and admins say it's not allowed (I know I'm violating the leadership forum rules, but I think you'll understand why I'm doing it).
CVARS aren't forbidding it, because it lags the server.

Demos only show you taking a grenade. The green man icon in the bottom right corner doesnt move at all when u fast take a nade.
So basically, this is a rule you cant enforce O_o

btw there are other ways to fast take a nade without using crouch|onrelease stand, so if thats the only reason to ban it you should reconsider that
cause if i fast swap to a nade by using my sprint button or going crouch|onrelease stand doesnt really differ. you cant ban the first, so why the 2nd? Post edited by -skeptic at 9/4/2008 11:41:08 AM

Because using a double-action keybind is a lot more unfair than having to do it manually.

forbidden, it's a double action keybind and that is forbidden in twl. And it has nothing to do with beeing fast swap or not.

Correct
We have no issue with fastswapping if done manually, but using binds is unfair.

We understand you dont like double action keybinds, but how do you go dispute the fact that an opponent is using this? Demorecs dont show it so...

CDC catches many double action keybinds. I cannot go into what it does and does not do, though.

If CDC would "catch" people with that particular double action keybind half (!) of the community would be caught.

then it's they're problem since it is very explicit ^^ here that it is forbidden. Who ever still tries to use, is just dumb. Post edited by .drop# at 9/5/2008 5:32:02 AM

so what? alot of keyboards can bind several keys to one, even my razor mouse is able to do it. so i can just put different keys on my hardware to not make it double action in my ini. so why punish people for not having such hardware? sry but thats unfair and dont tell me cdc can detect whats writtin in a mouse or keyboards hardware cache. i hope you rethink that issue atleast in some cases.
