Read This Entire Post
You post a request, and once it is granted, your post deleted. Keep in mind, TeamWarfare reserves the right to decline your new title request, or even give you another demeaning one. If your request is deleted, but your title isn't changed, you can consider it denied.
Lately, responses have been given to people whose requests have been denied. If you are too lazy to read this first post to see what is allowed and not, we will be too lazy to respond.
Denied posts because of obvious "guideline violations" will be deleted.
Regarding What Isn't Allowed
- Titles that are excessive (i.e. more than 1 line). You may be given one at the admin's discretion but not because you requested it.
- No racial slurs
- No drug references
- No homosexual references
- No pedophilia references
- Nothing demeaning to any other users or groups
- No profanity
- No Founder of...
- No clan tags
- No "AKA's"
- No URLs
- No sports teams that change from season to season.
- No political advertisements (names/party affiliations)
- No special formating (bold, italics, subscript, upper ascii characters etc..)
- No use of the abbreviation TWL or the name TeamWarfare except for TWL Member or TeamWarfare Vet if you qualify for the latter.
Colors are for admin titles and affiliates to TeamWarfare only.
If you want to change your actual name, the place to request those is within your profile. Just click the Request Name Change link.
Regarding TeamWarfare Vet
To receive TeamWarfare Vet status to anyone's forum title: the account with which TWL Vet will be associated with the request, must have an "account created" date of 18 months (that's 1 1/2 years) prior to the date of the request.
Regarding Observer Titles
Please see the ladder admin for your game. They know who their observers are and have the ability to change your forum title to reflect your status.
Regarding Frequency of Requests
Since the granting of titles became more and more commonplace (in the old days, they were rarely granted), more and more people have begun requesting them. I have no issue granting titles within reason but when people start requesting them within a week of getting their last one it becomes annoying.
So, let me caution people that the more frequently you request a new title the greater the chance is that you will be given something different. And I have a good enough memory to remember who keeps asking for new titles.
