so did anyone else see the email about xpl starting up an AA2 season coming soon? well i got it, i went to the site and read about the league, and i almost hit the floor when i saw the part about "before you can join a League you must pay the Background fee of $25.00" Did someone just wake up from a coma and think its still the year 2000? As difficult as it is to get teams to participate in any aa2 comp these days, do they actually think that anyone is going to pay to play. Not to mention the well deserved lack of confidence we all must have in xpl to deliver a quality product. Now im not saying that they cant give us something worth a damn this time, but i wont believe it till i see it, and there is now way im gonna spend any money, much less $25 to see what they have to offer. Am i missing something here, or has someone other than me completely lost their mind? As far as i can tell, there are currently 0 teams registered in this league, is that likely to change? Your thoughts on this...

Early Bird Special: The Anti Cheat Fee will be $15.00 for the next 30 days. Then it will go back to $25.00.
Charging to use an anti-cheat? Did Game Guardian get a major update or something? It used to be crap.
*edit* : Just re-read the anti cheat thing. $25.00 for a background check? Exactly what are they checking that others can't check for free? GL to them..

i read all that as well. everything to do with their "aa league" is laughable, from the price to the rules to the map list already chosen. at least its a good read if your bored and need a laugh
