For those of you that are having this issue right now download this script and place it in the gamedata/base folder. Remove the script if you're still getting the same message.

Ironically Wyze was having this same issue starting last night. I believe he reinstalled.

The IPFix did not work for me, so I got some help from Thyth. Hopefully if you have this problem, it will help you too.

Note: when using this second fix (rather than the ipfix posted above), you have to enter the ip everytime you start tribes.
Also: $IPv4::InetAddress = "xx.xx.xx.xx"; goes into the console activated by pressing the ` key

Om make sure you make it like a union suit, that way it has easy access known as the "access hatch", "drop seat", "fireman's flap", for easy access from the other admins
back on topic
take $IPv4::InetAddress = "xx.xx.xx.xx";
with ur ip and put in notepad and then save as .cs
and put in base\scripts\autoexec
I think thats the easiest way to do it
I think squezze came up with that idea not sure

I found that when i got this error, it was due to my Anti-Virus (Avast) and it's Real-Time Shield blocking stuff for some reason. I turn off the shields, and presto, it works...

I would just attempt to join different servers till it went through, then presto, it worked!

sometimes if u delete t2ipfix it will let u join servers again...
i had the file and it worked for the longest time then suddenly stopped... once i deleted the file everything back to normal

Can someone just make a script that gives the Tribes 2 executable the right IP address and works. The IPfix didn't work for me- and removing it didn't work either. And I don't want to manually type this IP business all the time...
