after a few tries to join servers I get a UE in server list screen

Alpha Sentinel - I remember getting the same error message as the one you got before i quit playing T2 and if I remember correctly the way I got rid of it was to do a system re-boot.
Since you got a UE in t2 - it might not be a bad idea to delete all you *.dso before restarting T2.
Hope this works for you and if not - you may try pm Thyth on the #TribesNext IRC channel (He usually idles there)
Take care and I hope you get to playing soon

Alpha - Sorry that my suggestion did not work
As for Boonie Dog's suggestion - hmm - that is a good question as to when you would type it in. I know that it is usually typed in from the console on the first screen following the log-on screen (i.e. Player Name, Password screen) and then the next screen which is usually the server screen which is where you are crashing :/
Have you pm'ed Thyth? If so - another place you might find the answer is the TribesNext Forums (http://www.tribesnext.com/forum/index.php?board=2.0)
Hopefully you will be able to play again soon.
Take care

You type that in as a console command -- press the tilde to open the console.
OR you can do this so you don't have to type this in every time (thx to squ33ze for telling me this):
1. Open a new Notepad file
2. Type this:
$IPv4::InetAddress = "ur.ip.add.ress";
(Put your IP address where it says ur ip address)
3. Save it as a .cs file
example: T2_ipfix.cs
4. Put it in your Base/Scripts/Autoexec folder.

Also make sure your firewall is off if it keeps happening after you try the ip fix.

Ok... now I'm having a similar problem. Login, UE. Sometimes I make it to the server list screen. Nothing's changed recently on my end that I know of.

Fling - Check the UE code and if it matches "C0000005" then this link may help. http://www.tribesnext.com/forum/index.php?topic=1495.0
In Alpha's case - he had to create the script located at the bottom of the thread.
Hope this helps
EDIT: Oppps - sorry - did not read the next post fling :/
