-Frostbite
-Adlernest
-Bremen b_3 (It's fucking amazing)
-Could add reactor (I love it) but depends on other ppls
-Radar obviously
If need more you could add Erdenberg

I don't think that ladder matches should really be limited, obviously not any 5o5 goldendunk (hey, that might be fun...) but I know a lot of the older dudes would like to play maps they used to back in the day.
Also, Oasis?

I was hoping for some new maps. The euros had some new maps to play a while back, I'm not sure if any of them got picked up though.

I think in order to succeed maps that were popular back in the day are needed. Perhaps if this continues on for a while we can start to introduce new maps.

Those all seem pretty solid as a base. Battery might be interesting 5v5, Oasis or one of the sw_oasis versions could also be good. Bremen_b3 and sp_delivery could fit too (though people seem not to like bremen, and delivery feels overplayed).
For new/different maps, I thought C2_Missle wasn't bad, and it's definitely not in the "overplayed" category. Caen could also work.
The Euros also currently have karsiah_te2 in their map pool (I'm not terribly keen on it, but it's an option).

I think base in ET works for 3s, but doesn't quite jive with 5s/6s.

missile was pretty good for the 2 weeks that it lasted and deserves another shot. sw_oasis_te is good too. dunno why bremen was taken out of the mappools for any league.. so add bremen too

im still a fan of sw_fueldump...and venice. I know both maps are typically more geared towards 6v6 or even when TWL ran 7v7 but i do get really tired of playing adler/frost/braun/supply

Venice... lol pretty bad (HUGE) map and it will be even worse for 5v5.
I've always wanted to play the new fueldump in comp, seems solid and if teams actually strat it should be interesting.

i love ice and beach but thats just me
Also, as otis said, venice made for comp is actually fun as opposed to the original, and the sw_fueldump i played about a year or two ago i think had real potential.
