I downloaded CDC and instantly my anti-virus discovered and deleted a worm obtained in the download...

CDC = Laughable.

It has not been reliable to catch cheats since '06.

Funny you say that when it is still catching people using cheats. It might not be the most up to date but it still works trust me.

The download package does not contain any worms or viruses. It is a false positive, most of the AV programs detect CDC as a virus or a worm because the heuristic detection methods CDC uses to scan.

Oh, I know that it will catch some simple script kid downloaded wall hack. But that's about it.
And who really cares anymore? AA is long dead. What is worse, is the people that still play, AND cheat haha now that is bad.

I respect the fact that you guys made competition easily accessible through out the years though.

@OP It's not a virus. All anti-virus scanners just look for repetitive code / algorithms in files to determine if it's a virus or not. CDC just so happens to look like a virus because it actively scans your computer.
