I know it came up in a locked thread and was not addressed.

when a team if found to have multiple cheaters, many times the admins will disband the team. The difficult thing with this punishment is that there is nothing to really stop the non banned members from making a new team. The site does not track what teams a player has been on in the past. It is up to the admins to actually try to remember who was on what team in the past and who was not. Sure things such as tags can help, and when the name was registered to the site is saved, it still does not show who was on a team at that time.

I also hate to punish innocent players. Having their team disbanded is actually a punishment to any player who played by the rules on the team. I am sure that going back to people who have played long enough, they have run across a cheater on their team, or one who at least tried to join their team. I have banned people from my own team in the past, and even disbanded one because of a couple cheaters.

The admins try to do their best to take care of it all but they are just regular people also. They have Jobs, family, friends and so on also. They get no compensation for any time they spend trying to make it fun for all. If you have questions on how anything works just ask and any of them will do their best to answer or find the person who can answer those questions.

I agree that its unfair to punish the ones who do follow by the rules, however everything has its limits. The team in question has the worst reputation for hackers in AA history. Simply unacceptable, for those on the team that feel theyre being mistreated, start a new clan.

As far as I know I dont need to see anymore of DA. The clan should be dismissed from AA if you ask me, not just TWL.

By joining DA right now, youre automatically looked on as a possible cheater, and they did this to themselves.

I never said that the DA team would or would not be removed, that is an Admin decision, but you have to give them time to address the issue completely. They have already addressed the team in the league. I just wanted people to realize that it isn't a 10 second action, but takes a little time to get everything sorted out

Hopefully my posts were not taken as such. We appreciate all the hard work you guys do and put up with. A while ago someone sent me a link to someone that was suspended on the rosters and had no clue why. I think it's a good thing to keep the community informed of the situation, rather than wondering and jumping to conclusions.

M@ddog, as far as your work goes, we very much appreciate what you and the team are doing, its also nice to see that some anti-hack software actually works out there. Keep up the good work.

Now if I see similar SS of Kerupt I will come over personally to give you a high five !! lol

As far as DA goes, theyre far beyond any Admin help, after all actions have been taken they will still be looked on with suspicious...

If any clean DA members actually read this, for your sake, get out!! if there are enough of you, start your own clan, its simple.

WELL I HOPE NOBODY STILL HOLDS A GRUDGE WITH SCE.
I MADE THE MISTAKE AND TOOK A COUPLE PLAYERS FROM A TEAM
AND THEY BOTH GOT CAUGHT. I WENT THRU THE PROPER CHANNELS WE DUMPED ALL THE LADDERS REMOVED THE PLAYERS IMEDIATLY. AND APOLOGIZED TO EVRY CLAN I KNOW. THEY WASNT ON THE LADDERS LONG BUT WE DECIDED TO START OVER SO WE DIDNT HAVE A TAINTED RECORD. NOW I WAS A LITTLE DISSAPOINTED SOME TEAMS CALLED FOR OUR HEADS AND THAT WE SHOULD OF BEEN DISBANDED THAT WOULD OF BEEN HORRIBLE WE ARE ONE OF THE LONGEST TENURED CLANS IN aa2 AND AA3. BELIEVE I WILL NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN

Even to this day I don't consider those 2 DA members you picked up a part of your squad. I always refer to them as DA. With the 2 hackers that you guys picked up, I don't think I ever suspected them. They were average players and I was shocked to find out the hacked. I have mucho respect for how you handled the situation jack. Every situation should be looked at and given the time they were on the rosters, I would have had no problem with you NOT leaving the ladders to start over.

It was class act from SCE to did what you did. But let's be honest for a second, I really don't have high hopes for DA to even apologize in forums. They already proved that they got no honor, sadly several times.

I rarely post in TWL forums but I agree 100 percent with you Doba. The tag [DA] is so commonly associated with hacking in the AA3 community that you can't tell what's the good apple and which is the bad. The whole "New DA" and "Old DA" had me thoroughly confused. But I didn't care what kind of internal stuff they had going on so I paid it no mind. Sad to say but anyone who's associated with the tag [DA] is always going to be looked at under a suspicious light considering their LENGTHY track record. That's just the facts.

Sorry to butt in here, but would somebody mind clarifying exactly what has happened (either recently or in the past) to give the DA clan such a bad rap here? I've been an active member of the team for the past 2 years (though I took somewhat of a leave of absence from AA in the past months), and honestly have no clue what events everyone is referencing here.

I'd just like the chance to clear up any misunderstandings or incorrect information that may be being spread, by our players or any others, regarding DA. I'd also like to know if any of our guys were recently banned that I'm not aware of. Thanks in advance.

I'm locking this thread.

If anyone has any questions about the topic you may contact AC or Comp staff via Email. We do not give out information of players that are banned, less it is the player asking.
