Pre-Season matches have been scheduled for this Sunday and are the following:
EUROPE: Sunday, 9:00PM Central European Time (TWL-EU Time)
NORTH AMERICA: Sunday, 9:00PM Eastern Standard Time (TWL-NA Time)
We have been getting questions about how the teams are assigned to Divisions and who plays againts who. How many will advance to playoffs etc. Here is a "short" answer:
Firstly the Season 1 is made by pre-season, regular season, playoffs. Teams were assigned to 2 division based on their current 4v4OBJ ladder rung and match history. This estimate was done in the best possible way we saw fit.
Teams who do not show up on their pre-season matches might get eliminated from the League. Each case is looked on case by case basis. If there is a clear and acceptable reason the team did not show up that will be ok. If only the other team communicates on match comms that team has more "credibility" than the other, so in case a no show dispute a team which clearly has stated
their intentions on match comms and the other one is not replying -> The match goes in favor of the team communicating.
After the pre-season is done. Admin team will look at the situation and determine the final rosters for the League Divisions, some teams might drop out. That would also mean a change in playoff schedule.
Therefore we are not planning to announce how many teams will advance from each Division until pre-season is done.
