General Information:
We are going to host a Launch Tournament for Modern Warfare 3. We want to get a head start with this game and get it going as soon as possible. The tentative schedule is posted below. Maps, Configs, Rules, etc., etc., etc. will all be determined once the game comes out and a quick set of rules is developed.

Game Config
The BareBones config has been posted HERE. You can view that config and there is a link to the download location.
Server and Side Choice
All matches will be played on TWL Sponsored servers. Branzone has stepped up and allocated 32 servers for us to use through this tournament. All teams will be assigned a server via match comms. Side Choice will go to the winner of a Knife Round. Once the Knife Round has been played, players must callvote to restart the map, and go to the correct teams.
Shoutcasting:
We are working with a couple of groups to cover this Tournament. We want to get as much coverage as possible for all matches. Our goal is to have every match casted, and we will do what we can to get this to happen.
Prizes:
Game Server
Branzone has stepped in to sponsor the servers for this Tournament. In addition to providing the match servers, Branzone if also offering up an MW3 server as a prize for the tournament winner. I want to thank Branzone for stepping in to take care of MW3 servers for us. It is greatly appreciated. If anyone is looking for a host, feel free to hit up Branzone for some.
Others
We are reaching out to some other companies to see about additional prizes to be offered for the teams participating here. Once we hear back from them, we will update this posting and inform everyone.
Signups:
There is a League posted where teams can signup for this tournament. Modern Warfare 3 Launch Tournament Signups League is where you want to be. UACID is required to be on your profile in order to join a team.

yeah you are right, sorry i had a flash back to right before the mw2 release when this same question got asked we got this same answer
"Can we set our max FPS?
No. Setting Max FPS is not a user controllable option."
and when we went into the game and pressed ~ nothing happened =(

The player needs to add UACID in order to join but also needs to add STEAMID and SCID

We do use anti cheat, have been for a few months now.. We use UAC3

Yes Branzone will provide a server for each match in the tournament. They are dedicated servers.
Now that the game has dropped I will be testing guns, perks, etc etc... Start throwing a cfg together and testing shit out.
The game has been out less then 24hrs, so please allow some time for myself and other admins to come up with and test cfg's for the next week or 2. Please don't ask me 10000 questions about what we will include or exclude etc etc.
We gladly appreciate any info as to what you would like to see/not see in a S&D environment for this upcoming tournament.

BTW, this tournament will be single elimination and we will have 2 brackets each with 32 teams for a total of 64 teams so get signed up!
There's already 31 signed up with a full roster and over 45 pending.
