It's sad to see that over 140 people have viewed these threads on the twl forums and only 40 people are following this issue in the link I posted (more than half of those at least are from other sources). As competitive players it's our duty to stand up to EA/DICE if we want to make anything of this game competitively. So please support it by posting and following. Every post bumps it back to the top of the list.

You do realize you count as a view everytime you click on the thread. So you're probably responsible for 7-8 of those views at least.

I was just using rough math. The reality is their are plenty of people who read these things yet do nothing. When all they have to do is click the little star to support it theirs no excuse. I was just trying to put it in perspective that most people are doing nothing. I probably shouldn't have used numbers since they are innacurate like you said, but I wanted to give people a visual.

Because it doesn't matter. This is a non-issue.
Nothing to see here accept people whining and hoping other people whine with them.
None of this will make a difference.
They are either going to add a few things or they won't... your rant isn't going to change anything.
140+ people agree with me.

Where you see 140+ agree with you?
I remember when the community wanted to do a blackout on BF3 because we had no answer from DICE about the date and details on the next patch, well DICE heard us and the NEXT day we had a partial answer with some details about whats coming in.
So yes something like this could make a difference if we continue to grow a strong and loud voice about the bad stuff in this game.
Thanks for creating this topic Elegy!

Have you guys been playing BF2 for so long that you haven't seen what the gaming community has had to play with over the last 5 or 6 years?
You guys act like this is new... many petitions and topics have been created about things like this for every game that's landed that could have been a success but hasn't due to the Console-First mentality.
Hell, even with BF3's PC-first mentality they still get things wrong. Just face it... we are a dying breed. PC Comp players aren't getting what they want because... WE DON'T BRING THE MONEY.
For some reason you think that the EA devs are the ones who make the decisions that cost money. That's not the case.
People who don't play games, wear $3,000 dollar suits, and have more reason to fund console development than PC development are in charge of these kind of decisions...
Pleading to the devs isn't going to get us anywhere. It might sprout a few things here and there but it will NEVER make the game perfect.
Just look at the dev who stated that he thinks the battle recorder is the item he would next want to get rolling for BF3.
For us, the comp community, that would be a gigantic waste of time. It's for the masses of noobs who don't know there are ways to record and watch demos... but they outnumber us and, therefore, bring more money than us.
They don't care about the comp community from PC land because we make up about .5% of all their sales and fan base...
It doesn't make sense... and nobody's post on battlelog is going to change the minds of people who look at us as money trees.
The game will never be exactly the way you want it.

When you dont answer something doesnt only mean you dont agree with it. Could be many reasons that we dont know.
We dont ask for perfect game. No game is perfect.
Like you said we want a few things here and there to make the game better.
For the rest of your answer, I agree with you. I know where the money is (consoles).
Even if our voices is smaller then them. Doesnt mean we need to stay silent.
Who knows what could happen with this. Maybe nothing, but its better than doing nothing.
We can say after, we tried no matter the result.
Be positive!

TWL could remove the suppression perk altogether. CGL did it, and no one is complaining.

Um..no one has yet said it should be removed. We usually don't make major changes like that unless the community wants them. That is not how I like to do changes to competition rules.
Do teams want to see suppression removed? SixShotSean

IMO, with Cover and Suppression perks its a wash. Most teams have been running it this way as they figure everyone is. With cover and no suppression it's closer to the old suppression than the new. It's up to you. Personally I'd rather not have the added suppression perk but it's w/e.

I ask that you at least put it up to a vote SixShot, just to see what the community thinks. I prefer playing with it off (as long as it's agreed upon both sides) + it lets you use frag without issue.

I'm indifferent with respect to the suppression perk. If it's legal, teams use it and it balances. If it isn't, then teams don't use it and it balances.
The problem with banning its use is enforcement. It will require teams to have at least one person record the match, which is a separate discussion.

This.
Honestly, I think the real issue is the combination of suppression and random bullet drifting. I don't think suppression in an of itself is the issue.

This is pathetic. I wasn't impressed by CS:GO at all, but I'll most likely join it. As for Black Ops 2, let's hope its like the first one. Blops was the best CoD since CoD4, imo.
