Unfortunately I don't really have much information about the 10v10 ladder than you guys do, which is why I haven't posted in this thread before. 
I brought it up in the admin forums (was being talked about even before this thread was made hohoho) and as far as I'm aware, a 10v10 ladder will be happening. I'm not going to be the admin for it but the admin selection process is almost done. I also want to see this ladder up asap because the timing is still good. :>

+1 for 10 man teams. some maps may be problematic. but others will benefit from the larger player count. and while individual skill certainly plays less of a role than in 7s, the extras allow for some creativity regarding strategy, and perhaps some of the classes will become more viable. like an actual farmer for instance...

It's not impossible but there would need to be a lot more support shown for it than what I've seen so far. As long as there is a reasonable amount of interest, I'm sure a ladder could get started up for it.
