Payday Heist is worth $5. Fun for a while but then its repetitive. Worth 20 - 40 hours of play. I have it and would be happy to play coop.
I might pick up an extra copy to trade latter.
Skyrim at $29.99 seems like the best price you will see on that game till the Christmas sale.
Brink is okay, but the game is dead. Even at $5 bucks the problem will be finding a game to play.
Dead Island is worth $10. If the DLC is 66% grab them too. Definitively not worth full price. Good for 20 - 40 hours of play.
Arma Combined Ops which has both ARMA II and ARMA Operation Arrowhead that you need to play Day Z is $23.99 I will wait till the last day to see if that drops in price. With Skyrim at $29.99 it seems like a better buy.
Orc Must Die for $3.75 looks like fun at that price.
I bought Warhammer Space Marine yesterday. Played a hour or so, and its fantastic. Super bloody game run around shooting and slicing up orcs. For 7.50 i say its a buy.

Let's do a Payday coop sometime soon.
Toy Soldiers uses GFWL FYI. It can be a hassle and I heard the pc port is kind of wonky. Also if you get space marine we should play online. My steam name is bucknut so add me. Post edited by Bucknut at 7/14/2012 4:37:40 PM
So far I've bought:
-Sniper Elite V2
-Rayman Origins
-Back to the Future: The Game
-Saints Row: The Third
-Trine 2
-Binding of Isaac Wrath of the Lamb
-Half-Life 1, TF Classic
-Alan Wake Bundle
-Assassin's Creed Revelations
Fuuuuuccckkk I'm going to need a bigger hard drive.
My wife is probably like every other wife and doesn't get video games and thinks they're a waste of money. I explained the steam sale to her and she's like yeah, you should totally buy a game for 10 bucks if it's usually 50. Women and their coupons.

Men and their Steam sales. You should tell her they games are usually $60, since half the time they are.

Yeah it has a wave based 4 player coop thing that's supposed to be pretty decent.
Orcs must die! Is a fun game. Well worth the money. I'd watch youtube of the gameplay to understand it.
Toy soldiers was a hasty buy for me. On one PC it won't run. Found the forum. People are getting refunds because of that. The game is aparantly de-contented vs. The xbox game its ported from.

I have Fallout New Vegas with all the DLC (which is now packaged as the Ultimate Edition) and I would be willing to trade it and one of the followinghttp://store.steampowered.com/app/2028016/?snr=1_7_suggest__13
If anybody is interested in trades let me know. I am buying games as gifts now, not just dropping into inventory. That way if I don't play them, I can trade them. Some I am buying specifically to trade.
Controlled buying this year (I hope), depends on the sales.
Already bought Toy Soldiers (hoping it's not a jacked port), Krater (kind of a post-apocalyptic Dungeon Siege) and Frozen Synapse (plus bought the THQ package for my son). Really liking what I'm seeing from the indie developers.
Thinking of getting Tiny & Big: Grandpa's Leftovers:
Or maybe I just like the song.
Would like to max out at $100 this year but it will probably work out to more than that.
