No doubt and I would be content if he won, but he's a libertarian like Bob Barr is a libertarian, which is not at all. He's a sane and decent conservative which means he's a sane and decent statist. He's still a statist though.

Why come?

Unlike with Snake......I don't bother to ask him what he thinks of the guy, because I know he doesn't know the guy and unless the GOP/RNC/Clear Channel sponsors tells him what to think he doesn't have a coherent opinion anyways.

It's worse than asking an avid Obama supporter why they still support Obama.......*bubbles*

Shit....I like this Morgan Freeman guy from this comment

Freeman has publicly criticized the celebration of Black History Month and does not participate in any related events, saying, "I don't want a black history month. Black history is American history."[40] He says the only way to end racism is to stop talking about it, and he notes that there is no "white history month."[41] Freeman once said on an interview with 60 Minutes' Mike Wallace, "I am going to stop calling you a white man and I'm going to ask you to stop calling me a black man."[40] Freeman supported the defeated proposal to change the Mississippi state flag, which contains the Confederate battle flag.[42][43]

When asked what libertarians were influential on him, the first person named was Milton Friedman. He then went on about the Cato Institute and Reason magazine being "great libertarian" think tanks. Friedman, Cato, and Reason are all conservatives and not libertarians. Cato and Reason CLAIM to be libertarian, but they aren't. Mind you, I'm not necessarily anti-Cato or Reason and I agree with them on a fair amount of stuff, specifically Reason.

As I said before, I'd be perfectly content with a Johnson presidency, but he's far from my ideal candidate.

Update (for WTS):

Two-thirds of likely voters say President Obama has kept his 2008 campaign promise to change America — but it’s changed for the worse, according to a sizable majority.

A new poll for The Hill found 56 percent of likely voters believe Obama’s first term has transformed the nation in a negative way, compared to 35 percent who believe the country has changed for the better under his leadership.

The results signal broad voter unease with the direction the nation has taken under Obama’s leadership and present a major challenge for the incumbent Democrat as he seeks reelection this fall.

Sounds like election winning support to me.

I agree with that view except most blacks would throw a fit since they want to be different than whitey.

Also that statement contradicts what he said earlier. Very odd

Update:

Looks like the artificial bump from the SCOTUS ruling has evaporated (as mentioned earlier). Back into declining support and losing the lead.

Notice where I underlined "dead heat" in the CBS headline above. Now if Obama were ahead by a single point, the headline would be quite different.. something along the lines of "Owebama edges Romney in latest poll".

Media bias doesnt exist, lol.

Anyway, I expect Owebama to receive another bump in favorability during the Dem Convention, but it wont last long. Maybe a week, certainly not longer than two.

Now the more interesting thing that Rassmussen pointed out is that the President approval rating receives roughly the same percentage of the vote. 46% is favorable versus 51% unfavorable. If this remains true, Owebama will lose the election.

Looks like many Owebama Kool-aid drinkers have left their empty cups on the table. The good news in that is there are still those who are willing to drink their share for them.

Sorry SS, but you're wrong (again). This is why you shouldn't be relying on individual polls.

Democrats 94%
Republicans 6%

Yes SS, keeping track of what all the polls are saying is drinking koolaid. Meanwhile, using only the occasional polls that say what you want them to say isn't. Riiiiiiight.

As I said: Historical data is trending down despite the bump from the SCOTUS ruling. He was losing for 3 consecutive weeks prior to that.

Now he is losing again. Damn those pesky facts.

Yeah, that makes you a kool-aid drinker. DRINK MOAR!

That's called a reversion to the mean. He gets a momentary bump from something and then goes back to his smaller -- but more appropriate -- lead. Romney has only led Obama twice over the course of a few days each and doesn't have anywhere near the support he needs to actually get the electoral votes to win. If what you were saying were true then he would actually lead in the polls more often than Obama does and have a better chance in a lot of the battleground states where he's getting his ass kicked currently.

This "historical" trend is just you projecting your desire for Romney to win onto the data. The fact that Obama consistently polls higher than Romney and occasionally has Huge 3%+ leads should be proof enough that he's mopping the floor with Romney right now. But no, instead you think that the fact that he returns to the more normal and expected lead of 1 or 2 points to mean that he's "trending down."

You're in denial.

Facts already posted say Owebama continues to trend downward and it's only July.

Facts shows Indies have not only switched but are in double digits against.

Would you like more Kool-aid?
