next iron chef is pretty darn good if you are a foodie.

I'm only giving Homeland a few more episodes to get better or its gone.

Grimm is a new show worth checking out comes on 9pm on 10/28 NBC.

The show is like a mixture of Supernatural, and True Blood imo.

The Walking Dead needs to step up this season.

I think Homeland is about to go on a weird as twisting turn right now.

I'm actually two episodes behind on Homeland.

Sons of Anarchy, and The Walking Dead have been fantastic this season though.

SOA has been awesome. Not many of those actors are any good at the crying and extreme drama, but the storyline rocks my socks. Clay will be dead soon.

I really wonder if they will do that considering he is the star of the show.

The show cant run forever so this would be a good time to kill him off.

Clay has just lost his mind over those letters.

I've always considered the whole thing revolving around Jax.

Me to. The biggest name on the show is Clay, whatever his real name is. But the show revolves around Jax and his mother it seems. They've been setting it up for a while for him to take over. And at this point, it's at the point of no return for Clay.

His name is Ron Perlman

Yeah that's what I meant him being the biggest known name on the show.

I do agree that most of the show is about Jax.

Are any of you watching Grimm?

It's been pretty good so far.

So far so good with Hell on Wheels... it certainly doesn't take them long to add depth to characters.

The Walking Dead seems to be moving pretty slow this season. Rumor is their production budget got slashed pretty heavy.

There are 90 issues of TWD comic. They're only up to events in the 10/11th issue in the show.

You really think TWD is going slow?

I thought last season was the slow one.

I'm really enjoying this season a lot of shit going down.

Get ready to add that to 2x06 and probably 2x07.

Character development is slow. Storyline is moving slow too. The important events (aka the side plots) could've been crafted into 2 episodes, and the missing girl plot shouldn't have had 2 minutes of air time.

They've had plenty of time to develop the characters, instead it's been a bunch of whining.

There was more development in Daryl over 15 minutes than there has been between Lori, Andrea, and Carol over 2 seasons.

So far, you have 2 or 3 characters you really care about, while the rest could be killed off at any moment without the slightest rise of emotion. That is where the show is failing.

Perhaps it's frustrating because I know how good the story and characters should be, having the comic as a base.

I've recently started watching Breaking bad. I'm in the very beginning of season 2, but it's a pretty decent show.

AMC and FX put out great stuff (although I can't speak for American Horror Story or The Killing).

If someone likes those shows, I typically recommend this bundle of hour-long shows:
Justified
Boardwalk Empire
Sons of Anarchy
Spartacus (Blood and Sand, Gods of the Arena)
Mad Men
Breaking Bad
Dexter
*Deadwood
*Rome
*Band of Brothers
*The Pacific

*Shows/series have ended.

Source: Self, having watched every season/episode of these shows.

Justified - can't wait for the next season to start
Boardwalk Empire - watched the premiere and BORING!
Sons of Anarchy - good show, but the drama acting is shite
Spartacus (Blood and Sand, Gods of the Arena) - fucking outstanding show
Breaking Bad - digging
Dexter - 3rd best show of all time
*Deadwood - Top 5 show of all time.

The first episode of Boardwalk is boring.

It gets better each episode though.

You should try watching it again.

I agree. It's one of those shows that I'll wait for a few to come out before watching all in a row... I watched the first 8 eps of s2 over the last two nights.
