With the Republican presidential primary appearing to have narrowed into a two-man contest, Human Events and Red State moved quickly to lock down a date for a Lincoln-Douglas-style debate between Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich.
I told you Paul should challenge one on one debates when he was getting no time. Looks like Newt is a hell of a lot smarter and that is why he is going to win.
It's not too late for Paul to challenge Newt to a debate. I doubt he has the balls to stand there and have libertarianism ripped to shreds by a guy that knows the vulnerable aspects of the ideology.
The one problem I have with Newt is his last name. I can see Obama laying out the facts about how Newt is really the Gingrinch that stole your welfare check. I'm not sure Newt is going to win because of that.

People also think that him being an OBGYN, a Southern Baptist, and someone who is adamantly against funding Planned Parent Hood......will get ROE V. WADE overturned.
Unfortunately, or fortunately (for me), despite his individual beliefs, he doesn't believe in the creation of a Federal Government that is powerful enough to subject his belief system upon others.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion in my mind......it's only when someones individual opinion gets shoved off as being everyones only remaining option that makes me angry.
Ron Paul is the last person on Earth to rewrite the Constitution in his image......even though he has his own beliefs......his own beliefs don't seem to be his exclusive deciding factor in his decision making abilities. Only the Constitution is.
That's leaps and bounds different than any other politician we have elected in the past several decades.
