I didnt vote for McCain or Owebama- I wrote my name in.

I disagree. I don't vote because I have no one to vote for. It's the same as me voting for "none of the above", only "none of the above" isn't on the ballot. It's the best that I can do without endorsing something that I view as inherently evil.

Also, the Public sucks. Fuck hope.

Uh, you had someone to vote for. Hence my example that I voted for myself which voiced my opinion of "none of the above".

You voting for yourself and me not voting had the same effect. I just saved the gas money and time.

And in reality, if I vote for anyone that isn't a Republican in federal elections in this state, I've wasted my vote.

Suit yourself. Perhaps when you realize that an opinion was voiced through a ballot instead of sitting on your ass, you will see it differently.

Perhaps when you realize that your opinion was used as toilet paper and then thrown away, you will see it differently.

NBF, I am genuinely disappointed to learn you don't vote. I'm shocked, really.

I was barely eligible to vote in 2004 and I didn't. I wasn't very interested in any of that shit at the time and just didn't care. I cared in 2008 and I voted. I voted in the last state election (2010?). I do not plan to vote this time, at least not for president.

In 2008 I voted for Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party for president.

That is better than not voting IMHO.

For the record, if Paul is on the ballot, I will vote.

I was thinking about this the other day. Funny when he says the public sucks and everyone starts applauding. As if his statement excludes them.

I don't vote much, unless it's kick illegals in the ass. California generally goes D-emo anyway.

After listening to Carlin, his position is that we all suck so he stays home because our government is sold to the biggest douche. That in my opinion makes it even more important to educate yourself and vote. Educate other people and vote. We certainly aren't going to change shit by sitting on our ass.

Fact is, we don't care who runs the country because it gives us the right to bitch about it. Great logic! I don't know if people are paying attention, but there are a shit ton of people who don't vote. I think more people don't vote than do vote. So, find out what it will take to get these people to vote and we can change something.

Carlin is a pessimist, stay home!

Please for fuck sake, stop using comedians as political points of view. For all I know Carlin wants to make people laugh and may not even believe half the shit he says because he's making money. Save the interviews on CNN about how he really really believes what he says during his comedy routines.

Go vote, fuck face!

Paulards are dumb in the big scheme of things. Most people like 85% of RP ideas but are hesitant about supporting a nutjob. If RP supporters voted to get Obama out they would have credibility. But they don't have any credibility because they are either young college kids or losers

As a fiscal conservative I'm 100% confident he is gonna cut spending and reduce the govt.

NBF: I watched the video and yeah, that's fucked up. But I have to say that Baker did the right thing despite what the Party wanted.

Like anything, you have your good and bad apples.

Let's make sure we are clear: If you are thinking that I am going to defend the Reps, you would be mistaken. I want the Party reformed and turned back to its traditional roots of a Constitutional based limited gvt, low taxes, fiscally sound, and a healthy defense that is used only when our sovereignty is in jeopardy, not for wars of "democracy".

Then I may reconsider joining them. Until then, no fucking way.

I get the point that both NBF and SS make.

I didn't vote last election cycle either. Then, suddenly, I started thinking that if every truly disenfranchised person actually voted......that perhaps we could finally break apart this two party monopoly.

Then I watched the outcome of this past election, the idiocy of populism, and the thievery of delegates by the status quo Old Republican Guard.

As I documented here:
http://www.teamwarfare.com/forums/showthread.asp?forumid=9&threadid=479394

Now I am back to hating the GOP more than ever......want less to do with them (or the general public) less than ever........and don't really give a shit about voting anymore (again) either.

Personally, I'm not sure it is worth being a registered voter, in the State of CA, for the potential jury duty selection alone.

Granted I love being a juror, so I can hang a trail over a stupid law I disagree with........and since I am already registered I will vote purely to be obnoxious and antagonistic in nature.

Just to piss off people like Snake in the world......if nothing else.
